Some of this nation's best long distance masters swimmers will be challenged by Morse Reservoir on Saturday July 17, 2010.

The 2010 10K USMS National Championship (U.S. Masters Swimming), sponsored by TYR, will cover 6.2 miles. Swimmers will take the plunge at the South Harbour Clubhouse & Beach and swim north towards the bridge on Little Chicago Road; rounding the bay at Little Chicago Road, they swim back to SH Beach to complete the 3.1 mile (5K) loop. One more time around this course determines who will prevail as a National Champion.

A 5K swim has been added to the event! The 5K will begin at 7:30 simultaneous with the relay start. To register online, sign up as if you are a relay swimmer, but do not add a relay team name or partner. For paper entries, the same applies. Please write "SOLO 5K" on the form. Good luck with your training. Remember, early registration ends on June 1st!

For discounts on housing during the competition, please visit the Hamilton County Housing Reservations page.

Our preparations for the 10K are going well and we hope your training is too. Important race information including psych sheets will soon be added to this website that you should know before your arrival. Please check back frequently over the next week.
