Butternuts are at it again

We’ve added more to the growing list of Butternuts!  If you’d like to see what everyone has done so far just click here to go to the Butternuts homepage.  Here’s an older submission and a note from the new Butternut:

It’s pool season again (I’m an open water guy – I’m sure you were one of those lads that breezed by me at Big Shoulders this year!)

Once again as I do with most meets around the state of Michigan, I sign up for as many distance events as I can, and then do it all Butterfly.

Last Sunday, November 15th, At West Bloomfield High School in West Bloomfield, MI, a northwest suburb of Detroit, I took four seconds off my personal best for the 1650 yd fly, for a time of 30 min and 21.36 seconds.   Of course the rest of the day felt like I took 4 seconds off my time, but still I did the 50 fly, 100 fly, 200 fly, and then the 500 as a fly.  No personal bests otherwise.

But this is a typical meet for me.  Let me know if  you need verifications and eyewitnesses for this.  I’m known as the butterfly guy in Michigan.

All the best,
James D’Amour
